Healthcare, Occupational and Primary for Employees in Lanarkshire is a local service aimed at improving the:

• Recognition

• prevention

of occupational ill-health.

HOPE also aims to make visible the incidence of work-related ill-healththat patients present with in Primary Care settings.  Patients canself-refer and/or be referred through their GP or A&E Department.Patients will be interviewed and, where the condition is workplacerelated, will be screened by an occupational health nurse.  HOPE offers access to a number of rehabilitation services.
